Christine Ann Roth Drake, age 80, of Wallingford, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 27, 2020, at U. K. HealthCare in Lexington.

Christine was born October 6, 1940, in Ironton, Ohio, to the late Pearl Henry Roth and Dorothy Beatrice Humphries Roth.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Clyde Chester "Shorty" Drake who passed away November 13, 2010; two sons, Vernon Chester Drake and Richard Wayne Drake; and one daughter, Tiline Mary Drake Tackett.

Christine is survived by one son:  Henry (Sandy) Drake of Wallingford; three daughters:  Varline (Greg) Crum of Morehead, Brigitte Preston of Nicholasville and Maryann (David) Gavin of Wallingford; 14 grandchildren:  Shaune (Amanda) Drake of Wallingford, Tonya (Tim) Hadden of Richmond, Vanessa Miller of Flemingsburg, Bobby Joe Brown of Olive Hill, David Brown of Morehead, Greg Crum of Morehead, Brian Crum of Morehead, Steven Harn and Ashley, Brianna and Albert Preston of Nicholasville, Bradley Gavin of Chesapeake, Virginia, Sabian and Blaise Gavin of Wallingford, as well as 22 great grandchildren.

Additionally, she is survived by two adopted daughters:  Carol Cantrell of Wallingford and Rose Ann (Randall) Deaton of Perry County and their children.

She is also survived by one brother, Herman Lloyd Roth of Ironton, Ohio.

Christine was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a former employee of Randall's Textron in Flemingsburg and A O Smith in Mt. Sterling. She attended Muses Mills Christian Church.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev. Steve Harn officiating.  Burial will be in the Goddard Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Greg Crum, Brian Crum, Albert Preston, Blaise Gavin, Sabian Watkins, and Shaune Drake.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
