Christine "Chris" Dawe McNutt, age 69, of Northfork Drive, Morehead, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2025, at UK – St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

She was born April 2, 1955, in Presque Isle, Maine, an only child to the late William John Dawe and Alice Evelyn Richardson Dawe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Brian McNutt in 2014.

She is survived by one son, John Hiatt of Owingsville; two step children, Brad McNutt and Amy McNutt, both of Louisville; two grandsons, Daniel Hiatt and Matthew Bryant; one granddaughter, Brooklyn Bryant; and many friends.

Chris joined the AT&T staff as a switchboard operator and retired after 30 years of dedicated service. She was an avid reader and loved her family and friends. A very friendly and outgoing person, Chris always had time to listen to her family, co-workers and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2025, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.

A memorial service will immediately follow at 12 p.m. with Pastor Ben Hargis officiating. All arrangements are under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, Morehead, KY.
