Christine Collins, age 55, of Clay Lick Road, Morehead, passed away Friday, December 25, 2020, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington.

Born April 8, 1965, in Royalton, Christine is the daughter of Brenda (Williams) Shepherd and her husband Virgil of Salyersville.

Christy is also survived by her husband, John C. "Jack" Collins; one son, Joshua Adams (Amanda Laws) of Clearfield; and two grandchildren, Nelliel and Decim.

Other survivors include two brothers, Allen Shepherd of Salyersville and Mark Shepherd of Prestonsburg; one sister, Marsha Shepherd of Martin; and four nieces and nephews.

Christy was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved her family dearly, especially her grandchildren.  In addition to her family, Christy greatly enjoyed spending time at Cave Run Lake. She will always be remembered with love.
