Chester "C. J." Mullins, Jr., age 27, of Jacks Drive, Wellington, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital – Norton HealthCare in Louisville.

Born August 25, 1993, in Georgetown, he is the son of Dorothy Adams Brown of Dale, Indiana, and Chester Mullins of Wellington.

C. J. is survived by a daughter, Kyla Tae Mullins of Mishawaka, Indiana; his father, Chester Mullins  (Tammy Houser) of Wellington; his mother, Dorothy Brown (Steve Hayes) of Dale, Indiana; one brother, Kristopher Mullins of Wellington; and three sisters, Brittany Summer Mullins of Bristow, Indiana, Courtney Michelle Breen of Dale, Indiana, and Haylie Marie Mullins of Versailles.

Other survivors include maternal grandfather, Don Adams of Nicholasville; paternal grandmother, Linda Blankenship Mullins of Wellington; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Vivian Adams; paternal grandfather, Burl E. Mullins; and a sister, Chestina Nicole Mullins.

C. J. was a former employee at Nestle in Mt. Sterling and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, four-wheeling, spending time on Cave Run Lake, and being with family and friends.

Private funeral services will be held Friday, December 4, 2020, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with Pastor Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating. Private burial will be in Blankenship – Moore Cemetery in Zag.  Family will serve as pallbearers.

COVID-19 mandates as set forth by the Governor will be observed.
