Chester Caudill, age 73, of Innovations Drive, Morehead, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was born January 24, 1944, in Morehead, the son of the late Arvel Chester Caudill and Leta Kelsey Caudill. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, John Ray "Buck" Caudill, Marion Caudill, and Ronald "Pat" Caudill. Chester is survived by his wife of 53 years, Imogene Masters Caudill, whom he married May 9, 1964; two sons, Kevin (Rejetta) Caudill and Kyle (Allison) Caudill, all of Morehead, and two grandsons, Dustin (Mariah) Caudill of Nicholasville and Kyler Caudill of Morehead. Other survivors include one brother, John Arvel "Bo" Caudill of Morehead; five sisters, Edith Littleton, Vicky (Jim) White and Debby (Dale) Moore, all of Morehead, Cindy (James) Durham of Huber Heights, Ohio, and Gay Caudill of Phoenix, Arizona; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Chester was a retired carpenter and member of Carpenters Local Union 472 in Ashland. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working in his machine shop with his boys, traveling, and fishing. He loved attending church and was a member of the Old Paint Primitive Baptist Church of the Burning Springs Association. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, October 1, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Elder Jerry Brown and Elder Brian Caudill officiating. Burial will follow in New Alfrey Cemetery. Pallbearers: Dustin Caudill, Kyler Caudill, Maurice Esham, Wilbur Moore, Randall Maxey, Stuart Cook. Honorary pallbearers: Nephews: Lancy Caudill, Wade Littleton, Darrell Littleton, Steve Williams, Brian Caudill, Jamie Durham, John Ryan Caudill, and Justin Caudill Visitation will be 6 pm to 9 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
