Charles Kenneth "Ken" Rickett, age 55, of US 60 East, Salt Lick, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington. Born May 13, 1962, in Tampa Bay, Florida, he was the son of the late Charles Skinner Rickett and Joanne Alsup Neely Rickett. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Smith. Ken is survived by his companion, Carolyn Hamm; three children, Misty Rickett, Charles Rickett, and Cassie Rickett, all of Tennessee; one brother, Jay D. Rickett and his wife Sandy of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, as well as extended family and friends. Ken served in the U.S. Army and was a carpenter, construction worker, surveyor, and mechanic. He was a cowboy at heart and loved fishing and woodworking. At his request, no services are planned. Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead is caring for arrangements.
