Charles Warren Egan, age 74, of Egan Lane, Hillsboro, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010, at the Fleming County Hospital in Flemingsburg, Kentucky. Born March 3, 1936, in Rowan County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Charlie Benton and Vinesa Alma Mabry Egan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Rudolph Egan, and one sister, Ruth Litton. Mr. Egan is survived by his wife, Cora Sue Martin Egan; three sons, Steve Egan and Michael Egan, both of Hillsboro, Kentucky, and Jeff Egan of Morehead, Kentucky; four daughters, Anna Pecco of Morehead, Kentucky, Lisa Rogers of Owingsville, Kentucky, Becky Purdy of Morehead, Kentucky, and Abby White of Richmond, Kentucky; 14 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Charles was a farmer and former truck driver. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Private graveside services will be conducted Saturday, August 28, 2010, at the Mabry Cemetery with Pastor Charlie Riggs officiating. Pallbearers will be Jacob Egan, Nathan Pecco, Nicholas Pecco, Rick Rogers, Rob Rogers, Justin Egan, Jason Egan, and Brad Newnam.
