Charles -Charlie- Donathan, age 44, of Moores Flat Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at the U.K. Markey Cancer Center in Lexington. He was born May 12, 1965, in Montgomery County, Kentucky, and is the son of Charles Edward Donathan and Gennive Brown White and husband Deward of Clearfield, Kentucky. He is also survived by his wife, Tracy Arnett Donathan; two sons, Steven Donathan and Silas Donathan; and two daughters, Allison Donathan and Amber Arnett, all at home. Other survivors include two brothers, Danny Donathan of Montgomery County, Kentucky, and Jimmy Donathan, of Morehead, Kentucky, and five sisters, Patricia Donathan and Sally White, both of Clearfield, Kentucky, Pam Christy, Shelley Green, and Bobbie Withrow, all of Morehead, Kentucky; and his mother- and father-in-law, Paul and Lori Reynolds Arnett of Morehead, Kentucky. Charlie was an employee of the W. Rogers Company in Lexington, Kentucky, and a member of the Salt Lick Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, November 28, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Andy Lands and Todd Layne officiating. Burial will follow in the Carey Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Bowling, Bob Harris, Hootie Montgomery, Kyle Arnett, Roy Lands, Aaron McGafflin, and Billy Rose.Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Montgomery and Curly Montgomery.
