Charles Conrad 'Chuck' Walling, age 63, of Pond Lick Road, Morehead, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016, at his residence. Born October 14, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he is the son of the late John Randolph Walling and Carol Elaine Redwine LaFevers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John Dennis Walling and Glenn Moore. Chuck is survived by his former wife and caretaker, Vickie Estep Walling; one daughter, Cassandra Faith Walling; and one stepdaughter, Hope Earls, all of Morehead; seven grandchildren, Chase and Cheyenne Elaine Kinder, Allie and Ada Leigh Jackson, and Dalton, Vada Grace, and Sara Martin. Other survivors include a sister, Cheryl Fletcher of Weston, Ohio; two stepsisters, Rita Disney and Ann Wilson of Corbin; nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Chuck was a self-employed construction worker and former employee of Morehead Auto Parts. He enjoyed spending time with his grandbabies, especially his little 'sugey-poo' Cheyenne Elaine. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and writing songs, working crossword puzzles and reading. He loved Louie L'Amour Westerns. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jeff Fannin officiating. Entombment will be in Forest Lawn Mausoleum. Visitation is 6 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2016, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
