Obituary

Charles Willis 'Bo' Harmon, age 77, of Orchard Road, Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014, at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home in Flemingsburg. Born December 15, 1937, in Fleming County, he was a son of the late Herchel Harmon and Helen Gray Flora. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Wilson 'Buck' Claypool, and one sister, Ruby Flora Kissick. Bo is survived by his wife, Marjorie Spurlock Harmon, whom he married January 3, 1959; one son, Daryl (Sue) Harmon, and two daughters, Deborah McConnel and Denise (Edgar) Dials, all of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren, Joseph McConnel; Brandon Mason, Austin, Jordan, Alexa, and Reagan Dials; Amber and Shayne Harmon; and one great granddaughter, Dixie Price. Other survivors include two brothers, Bobby (Barbara) Flora and Calvin Flora, all of Hillsboro; two sisters, Bonnie (David) Earlywine of Flemingsburg and Betty (Stuart) Muir of Georgetown; and several nieces and nephews. Bo was a lifelong farmer who especially enjoyed his cattle and a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He attended the Sharkey Free Will Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Hutton Funeral Home with Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr., and Rev. Randy Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers: Tommy McDonald, Gary Harmon, Lindon Trent, Norman Harn, Matt Barker, and Gary Spurlock. Visitation is 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2014, at Hutton Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Kentucky. Visitation: Monday, December 22, 2014, from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral: Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at 1 p.m. Interment: Fairview Cemetery
