Charleen Gail (Gilkison) Gulley, age 60, of Morehead gained her heavenly wings Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

Charleen was born June 10, 1961, in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky.  She was a graduate of Rowan County Senior High School.  Charleen was a woman of faith and an active member of Rock Fork Church.  Her life was spent as a public servant helping those in need at Rodburn Elementary and through her work at the Rowan County Health Department HANDS program.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Charleen was preceded in death by her loving parents Arlie and Maxine Gilkison, both of Morehead.  She leaves behind her devoted husband of 42 years, Harold (Harry) Gulley of Morehead; two sons, Dustin (Lacey) Gulley of Grayson and Brad (Carrie) Gulley of Morehead; three brothers Earl (Judy) Gilkison of Ontario, Ohio, Marty (Brenda) Gilkison of Morehead, Roy (Brenda) Gilkison of Morehead; and six cherished grandchildren who were the light of her life:  Kadence Gulley, Natalie Gulley, Summer Gulley, Austin Hickok, Oakley Gulley, and Owynn Gulley.  In addition to her grandchildren, Charleen leaves behind her many nieces and nephews whom she loved like her own.

Services will be held at Northcutt and Son Home for Funerals for friends and family on Monday, September 20, 2021.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday with a funeral service immediately following at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Butch Kelsey officiating. The service will be livestreamed at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Facebook page beginning at 1 p.m.

Burial will follow in Adams-Plank Cemetery. Pallbearers: Dakota Gilkison, Shane Gilkison, Matthew Stacey, Josh Cooper, Josh Voight, Brian Littleton, and Heath Loper.
