Catherine Marcella Lovely Logan, age 79, of Walnut Grove, Olive Hill, passed away Wednesday April 1, 2015, at her home. Born May 24, 1935, at Cisco in Magoffin County, she was a daughter of the late Charles Keyser Lovely and Grace Mae Brown Lovely Yoder. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Charles Keith Hamilton, and two brothers, Larry Warren Lovely and Ronnie Darrel Lovely. Marcella is survived by her husband of 55 years, Clifford Arnold Logan; two sons, Bill Hamilton and wife Catherine Sue of Morehead and Barry Hamilton of Olive Hill; three daughters, Colette Hinton and husband Danny of Fostoria, Ohio, Carlotta Stibich and husband Dan of Hollister, Missouri, Regina Elswick and husband Scott of Olive Hill; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. Other survivors include one brother, Jim Yoder and wife Kay of Lexington; three sisters, Bonnie Hall and husband Bob of Morehead, Jackie Webel and husband Fred of Mansfield, Ohio, and Debbie Miranda and husband Steve of Starkville, Mississippi; nieces; nephews; extended family; and friends. Marcella was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who treasured all her family, including her dog, Elmo. Always hardworking, she was the rock of the family and enjoyed attending to everyone's needs. She was an avid reader, loved watching documentaries, quilting, canning, and flower and vegetable gardening. Marcella's legacy will continue with her family who will cherish her memory and miss her greatly. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Don Rivers officiating. Burial will follow at the Clark Cemetery, Cranston Road, Morehead. Grandsons Phil Tackett, Charlie Hamilton, Billy Joe Hamilton, Brandon Hinton, Dustin Hinton, and Tim Kilgore will serve as pallbearers Visitation is after 5 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
