Annabella was well known in the region for her service to others through her profession as a critical care registered nurse (CCRN) and her leadership in community activities. As a strong and determined young mother with four children, Annabella enrolled in the Nursing Program at Morehead State University and was a member of the first graduation class for registered nurses at MSU. Upon graduation in 1972, she worked diligently for St. Claire Medical Center for more than 35 years. Much of her time was spent in the ICU where her dedication to patient care was steadfast.
