Carolyn Sue Sparks Poth Baer, age 71, of Morehead, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Paul B. Hall Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky.

Born December 14, 1947, in Olive Hill, she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Christine Brinegar Sparks.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James Poth and Darrel Dean Baer; two brothers, Everett Mack Sparks, Sr., and Leroy Sparks; one sister, Donna Gale Reynolds; and one son, James "Jimmy" R. Poth.

Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Sparks of Morehead and Teresa Olive of Winter Garden, Florida; two sisters, Betty Enix of Vanceburg and Joy Henderson of Olive Hill; one brother, Ross Sparks of Olive Hill; and beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, as well as extended family and friends.

The family will remember Carolyn Sue lovingly.
