Carolyn Sue
Fultz Stamper
Apr 4, 1950 — Feb 20, 2018
Carolyn (Granny) Sue Stamper, 67, of Mansfield, Ohio, went to be with the Lord early Tuesday, February 20, 2018. She was at her home and surrounded by her family. She was born on April 4, 1950, in Mansfield, Ohio, to the late Coy and Nelly Fultz. She was one of nine children. On March 24, 1967, she married Willard E. Stamper and they spent fifty-one wonderful years together. Early in their marriage they traveled the United States. After starting their family, Carol stayed in Mansfield with her children and worked many years as an STNA. She ended her work career at the Friendly House where she spent twelve years. Carol loved spending time with her family and felt that a house was not a home unless it was filled with her kids, grandkids, nieces, and nephews. She especially enjoyed the holidays because her house was filled with family. She also enjoyed the outdoors and you could often find her sitting on her swing, enjoying the nice weather and adoring her flowers. She had a strong faith in God and would frequently listen to her favorite gospel songs. She felt that it was important to instill a love for the Lord in her family. She is survived by her husband, Willard Stamper; two children: Clifford Stamper (Shelia Ramsey) and Nancy Stamper (Jeff Carter); four granddaughters: Shannon Stamper (Justin Hall), Sarah Stamper, Sharon Stamper, and Carolyn Stamper; three great grandchildren: Hailey Kennedy, Maddy Kennedy, and Joel Mastin; four sisters: Lois Puckett (Daryl), Pat Allen (Paul), Linda Foor (Skeet), and Sue Fultz; two brothers: David Fultz (Mary) and Jerry Fultz; one uncle: Edward Fultz, and many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her mother- and father-in-law, Alvin and Irene Stamper, and two sisters: Ruth Fultz and Phyllis Pulym. She was truly loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 26, 2018, at Northcutt and Son Home for Funerals with Brother Ray Glover officiating. Her final resting place will be at Fultz Cemetery in Olive Hill, KY. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
