Carolyn Sue Corman Davis, age 73, of Clearfield, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at UK St. Claire Hospital in Morehead.

She was born October 1, 1950, in Lexington, and was a daughter of the late Nute Corman and Carolyn Steele Corman.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and brother-in-law, Barbara and Richard Bentley.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 56 years, Kenneth Edward Davis, whom she wed February 3, 1968; one son, Michael Davis (Melissa) of Morehead; and one daughter, Keri Hurtt (Ryan) of Winchester.

Other survivors include one brother, Johnny Corman of New Jersey; three sisters, Shirley Stidam of Clearfield, Edna Mae Corman of Spring, Texas, and Maxine Ritchie (David) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Shirley Gilliam of Clearfield; several nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and many friends.

Carolyn was a beautician for more than 35 years and partner of Magic Mirror Beauty Salon in Morehead. She was a former library assistant at Morehead State University. Carolyn loved her pets and especially enjoyed spending time with her family, clients, and friends.  She will be remembered always and greatly missed.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.  Private burial will be Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Brown Cemetery.
