Carol Jean Vanderford Shock, age 81, of Wyoming Road, Owingsville, formerly of Center Street, Morehead, passed away Monday, April 3, 2017, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born November 25, 1935, in Millington, Tennessee, she was a daughter of late Orville C. Vanderford and Margaret B. McKnatt Christenson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Shock; one sister, Barbara Seitz; and one brother, Steve Christenson. Carol is survived by two daughters, Margo Ann Ferguson of Owingsville and Sandra Joyce Schwerin of Morehead; one son, Chris Allen Schwerin of Macomb, Michigan; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was a homemaker and attended the Grace Fellowship Church. Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2017, at Brown Cemetery with the Rev. Thad Callahan officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2017, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead Visitation: Friday, April 7, 2017, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral: Graveside Service Friday, April 7, 2017, 1 p.m. Interment: Brown Cemetery
