Carol J. Naylor Daugherty, age 65, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at the Life Care Center of Morehead. Born January 12, 1948, in Scarbro, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Stella Wriston Naylor. Carol is survived by her husband of 44 years, Elmer Rankin Daugherty; two sons, Daniel Christian Daugherty and wife Kammy of Lexington, Kentucky, and Andrew Davis Daugherty and wife Brittany of Morehead, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Andrea Jo LaDawn Daugherty. Other survivors include two brothers, Gary Grant Naylor and wife Sherry of Kingwood, West Virginia, and Danny Andrew Naylor and wife Dawn of Fayetteville, West Virginia; nieces and nephews; extended family members; and friends. Carol was a homemaker and previous business owner in Phelps, Kentucky. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Bro. Earl Jones, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation is from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, Morehead, Kentucky.
