Carol L. Hall, 97, of Martins Creek, PA, formerly of Coopersburg, PA, passed away Friday, May 4, 2018, in Country Meadows. Born June 16, 1920, in Magoffin County, she was a daughter of the late Oscar F. and Mary Arnett Patrick. Her husband of 32 years, George Clarence Hall, Jr., died December 18, 1975. She retired as a teacher of English at William Allen High School in Allentown. Carol graduated from Morehead State Teachers College (now Morehead State University) where she majored in art and English. She was a teacher and artist. Carol enjoyed spending time with her family, painting, yard sales, and hot tea. Surviving are her children, Marynelle Spear and her husband Philip of Haverford, PA, Martha Hall of Frankfort, George Hall and wife Edith of Levittown, PA, and John Hall and wife Carole of Martins Creek, PA; six grandchildren, Jennifer Amato of Brooklyn, NY, Elizabeth Spear of Ardmore, PA, Melanie Hall of Seattle, WA, Timothy Hall of Santa Rosa, CA, Emily Hall of Tampa, FL, and Megan Fitzgerald of Palmyra, PA; a great grandson; and two sisters, Alice Reynolds of Morehead and Nancy Jackson of Riverview, FL. She was preceded in death by a brother, Creed Patrick, and a sister, Janet Litton. Services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Lee Cemetery. Pallbearers: Philip Spear, George Hall, John Hall, Terry Jackson, Terry Peake, Dick Patrick, Jack McAllister.
