Carl Stamper, age 84, of US 60 West, Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Born June 29, 1940, in Carter County, he was the son of the late Everett "Blue" Stamper and Hazel Haney Stamper. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Edward and Venus Biggs Gee.
Carl is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Patricia "Patti" Gee Stamper, whom he wed May 28, 1971; one son, Joshua Stamper; and two daughters, Dr. Dana Stamper Kerns (and husband Randy) and Dr. Elizabeth Stamper, all of Olive Hill.
Carl proudly served in the U.S. Army National Guard for six years and was a retired lab technician for General Refactories in Hitchins, Kentucky. He was of the Christian faith.
Carl enjoyed building tractors, gardening, playing guitar, and studying the Bible. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his loving wife. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2025, at Globe Christian Church, 79 Church Drive, Olive Hill, KY 41164. Private graveside services will be held at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Olive Hill with full military honors by Olive Hill American Legion Post No. 138.
