Carl Wayne Conn, age 35, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Friday, May 15, 2009, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. He was born September 23, 1973, in Boyd County, Kentucky, and is the son of Laura Lucille Maggard Conn of Morehead, Kentucky, and the late Carl Houston Conn. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Bobbie Jo Conn, and two sons, Josh and Brent Conn, all of Morehead, Kentucky; three brothers, David Conn of McDonald, Ohio, Paul Conn and Lonnie Conn, both of Clearfield, Kentucky; two sisters, Donna Porter of Olive Hill, Kentucky, and Bonnita Conn of Irvine, Kentucky; and maternal grandmother, Mae Cole of Hayward, Kentucky. Carl Wayne was a former building service technician at Morehead State University. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2009, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Ray Glover and Brother Don Rivers officiating. Burial will follow in the Conn Cemetery in Carter County, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Scottie Stinson, Rick Porter, Brandon Wease, David Boggs, Gary Stevens, and Bobby Walton.
