Burl E. Mullins, age 70, of Jacks Drive, Wellington, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington. Born September 28, 1943, in Welch, West Virginia, he was a son of the late Moses and Nancy Mae Keene Mullins. Burl is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Blankenship Mullins, whom he married June 30, 1969; four sons, James (Lisa) Mullins of Hickory, North Carolina, Chester (Tammy) Mullins of Owingsville, Dexter (Anna) Mullins and Michael (Tracy) Mullins, all of Sadieville; one daughter, Angie Lynn (Randy) Phillips of Georgetown; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Glenn Mullins, Chester Mullins, and Doug Mullins, all of Bradshaw, West Virginia; two sisters, Shirley Walling of Kendallville, Indiana, and Joyce Reed of Lincolnton, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. Burl retired from Georgia Pacific Lumber Company after 22 years of service and graduated from Iaeger High School in Iaeger, West Virginia. He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Greg Crouch officiating. Burial will follow in Blankenship - Moore Cemetery in Blaze. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Wednesday, July 30, 2014, after 6 p.m. Funeral: Thursday, July 31, 2014, at 11 a.m. Interment: Blankenship - Moore Cemetery in Blaze
