Brian Scott Butler, age 43, of Bailey Road, Morehead, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born July 9, 1980, in Morehead, Brian was a son of the late Carl Everett "Biggs" Butler and Glenna Kay Reynolds Butler.  He was also preceded in death one sister Linda McKinney.

He is survived by four children, Briar Butler, Kaysen Butler, Lorielle Butler, Hope Butler, all of Morehead; four brothers, Jeffrey Butler and wife Donna of Olive Hill, Frankie Butler and wife Jill, Allen Butler and significant other Cindy Sargent, and Daniel Butler, all of Morehead; one sister, Melissa Butler of Morehead; a brother-in-law, Terry McKinney of Morehead; a host of nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and friends.

Brian was a former construction worker, mechanic, and concrete finisher. He enjoyed camping, horseback riding, working on his truck, and especially spending time with his children. He will be remembered with love and greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Bro. Darrell Puckett officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers:  Jeffrey, Frankie, Allen, Daniel and Hunter Butler and Ricky McKinney.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
