Brent Carter, age 24, of Veterans Lane, Morehead, Kentucky, formerly of Fleming County, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011, at the Community Hospice Care in Ashland, Kentucky, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on July 11, 2009, in Carter County. He was born December 2, 1986, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and is the son of Tina Hamm Walton and husband Bobby of Morehead, Kentucky, and Calvin Carter of West Liberty. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one daughter, Harlie Carter of Bath County; two sisters, Michelle Carter of Olive Hill, and Allison Walton of Morehead; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. One son, Dakota Carter, preceded him in death. Brent was a former construction worker as a concrete finisher and attended Fleming County High School. He also enjoyed 4-wheeling. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, January 22, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Don Rivers officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Hollow Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Purvis, Ben Hamm, Johnny Reed, Donnie Jones, Matthew Ramey, and Travis Hamm.
