Brenda Sue Gentry Cash, age 68, of Stulltown Road, Owingsville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, August 3, 2020, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

She was born July 25, 1952, in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, to the late Robert Andrew Gentry and Betty Jane (Rash) Gentry Weartz.  She was also preceded in death by a son, Michael Terrell; a brother, Ronnie Gentry; a sister, Linda Barber; and a son-in-law, Robert Frank.

Brenda is survived by six daughters, Tracy Cash, Christie Cash, Lisa Cash, and Meagan Gentry, all of Owingsville, Kentucky, Lacey Gentry of Providence, Kentucky, and Paige Benson and her husband Jason of Morehead, Kentucky; and nine beloved grandchildren, Adrian, Skyler, Bradley, Athena, Justin, Dallas, Nicholas, Hunter, and Maverick.

Other survivors include a daughter-in-law, Tracie Minne of Harvest, Alabama; stepfather, Raymond Weartz, of Delhi, Ohio; brother, Robert Phil Gentry of Harrison, Ohio; sisters, Sherry Caudill of Whitesburg, Kentucky, and Debbie Gentry of Hamilton, Ohio; other relatives and friends.

Brenda was an amazing, caring, and loving person who always gave to everyone before herself.  She would tell anyone that her children were her greatest accomplishment and her grandchildren were her greatest joy!  Brenda was such a wonderful example of kindness, selflessness, and a caring and loving soul who was a hero to many.  Her impact extends beyond what we will ever know.
