Branden Keith Porter, age 36, of Olive Hill, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at his residence.

Born July 16, 1984, in Ashland, he is the son of Robin Elizabeth Barker Porter of Olive Hill and the late Keith Allen Porter. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Herman Porter on June 10, 1986; paternal grandmother, Kolene Porter; and maternal grandmother, Ellen Barker.

In addition to his mother, Branden is survived by two sons, Jaxen Porter of Beaufort, South Carolina, and Bodhi Porter of Olive Hill; one daughter, Kristen Porter of Beattyville; one brother, Nate Porter of Olive Hill; and his significant other, Angela Eden and her daughter Brooklyn of Olive Hill.

Other survivors include his paternal grandfather, Gayle Porter of Olive Hill; maternal grandfather, Ray Barker of Elliott County; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.

Branden was a 2002 graduate of West Carter High School and a 2005 graduate of Ashland Community Technical College. He was pipefitter for Local 248 in Ashland. Branden enjoyed spending time with his children, family and friends. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, June 12, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Louie Harris and Brother Buris Leadingham officiating.  Burial will follow in Porter Cemetery on Porter Creek.

Pallbearers: Nate Porter, Larry Waddell, Jessie Waddell. Ryan Barker, Dewayne Waggoner, Daniel Eden, Joe Barker, and Tanner P'Simer.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
