Bobby Mitchell Snedegar, age 74, of Lower Rock Lick Road, Hillsboro, passed away Monday, September 21, 2015, at the Fleming County Hospital in Flemingsburg. Born October 17, 1940, in Fleming County, he was a son of the late Gilbert Clinton and Lela Frances Pickrell Snedegar. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Gerald Lane Snedegar, Michael Cordell Snedegar, and Neval Scott Snedegar. He is survived by one son, Douglas M. Snedegar of Mt. Carmel; one daughter, Lisa Anne Snedegar of Muses Mill; three grandchildren, Jamison Nicole Snedegar, Jaclyn Rae Snedegar, and Rachel Anne Walton and husband Travis; and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers, Merle Dean Snedegar, Gary Lee Snedegar and wife JoAnn, Terry Lynn 'Ike' Snedegar, and Danny Brooks Snedegar, all of Hillsboro; two sisters, Jackie Adams and husband Dennie and Carolyn Jean Snedegar, also of Hillsboro, as well as nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends. Bobby retired from Bobby Porter's Auto Sales after 23 years of service. He enjoyed playing his guitar, listening to Bluegrass and country music, and enjoying a good cup of coffee. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, September 26, 2015, at the Hutton Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Engle officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers: Randy Hawkins, William Thompson, Barry Thompson, Brian Duncan, Marion Story, Willie Skaggs, and Darrin Fawns. Honorary pallbearers: Dennie Adams and Bobby Gibson.
