Bobby Joe Spurlock, age 45, of Richmond, KY, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Bobby was an OSHA Administrator in the Department of Continuing Education at Eastern Kentucky University and a former Safety Director at EnerSys in Richmond. He graduated from Reidland High School in Paducah, Kentucky, and earned his bachelor-s and master-s degrees from Murray State University. He attended the Episcopal Church of Our Savior in Richmond. Born August 3, 1964, in Columbus, Ohio, Bobby Joe is survived by his parents, Bobby Gene and Margena Spurlock of Ledbetter, Kentucky, and Loreda June and Jay Miller of Louisville, Kentucky; one brother, Christopher Gene Spurlock of Louisville, Kentucky; one sister, Crystal Lynn Spurlock Harper and husband Aaron of Benton, Kentucky; one niece, Angela Brooke Spurlock; and several aunts and uncles. Graveside services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2010, at the Brown Cemetery with The Rev. Richard Burden officiating.
