Bobby Lee Brown, age 90, of Whispering Oaks, Morehead, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020, at the Life Care Center in Morehead. Born June 8, 1929, in Pike County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Homer Brown and Myrtle McKenzie Brown. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Danny Brown; one grandson, Christopher Daugherty; and one sister, Delores Wainscott. Bobby is survived by his wife, Kathleen Smith Brown, whom he married July 18, 1952; two daughters, Karen (Ted) Cummings of Morehead and Pam (Wayne) Daugherty of Means, Kentucky; one son, Bobby Brown of Mt. Sterling; grandchildren, Jeremy Egleston, Michael Daugherty, and Shonna Daugherty; great grandchildren, Trad Egleston, Autumn Egleston, Ariah Egleston, Tosha Binion, Dalton Daugherty, and Skyler Walton; and great-great grandson, Hunter Binion. Bobby was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, a former crane operator, and a retired employee of A. O. Smith. He enjoyed his family and liked to piddle around the house and build and re-build all sorts of things. At his request, no funeral services are planned.
