Bobby "Bob" Joe Black

Bobby “Bob” Joe Black, age 65, of Wilder Loop Road, Wallingford, KY, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026, at his residence.

Bob was born June 16, 1961, in Mt. Sterling, KY to the late Gilbert Black and Lou Ann Link Black. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, Jeffrey, Ranze, Bill, Gene, Christopher, and Ceo Black, and three sisters, Lila Black, Janet Black, and Clarey Spurlock.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory one daughter, Rebecca Lynn Williams of Wallingford, KY; two brothers, Jerry Black of Prestonsburg, KY and Mike Black of Hillsboro, KY; four sisters, Brenda Hunt of Owingsville, KY, Delphia Holbrook of Clearfield, KY, Alma Turner of Morehead, KY, and Bernice Kissick of Lexington, KY, as well as extended family and friends.

Bob was a former Swartz Mowing employee and enjoyed making knives and woodworking.

He will be greatly missed by his family.
