Obituary

Bo Dustin Dewayne Otis, age 20, of Old Sand Road, Owingsville, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington. Born November 16, 1993, in Morehead, he is the son of Jerry Dewayne and Tannie Black Otis of Owingsville. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Keysha Otis and Tristen Shafer Evans of Salt Lick; paternal grandfather, Clendairus Dale Otis of Salt Lick; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Loraine Corey Otis, and maternal grandparents, Clifford Allen and Pearl Pennington Black. Bo was an employee of Regal Beloit Corporation (formerly A. O. Smith) in Mt. Sterling. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on electronic equipment, computers, and phones. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Lowell Rice officiating. Burial will follow at Knox Hill Cemetery in Bath County. Pallbearers: Jed Staton, Dougie Black, Kyler Wright, Shawn Allen, Tristen Shafer Evans, and Josh Jones. Visitation is after 4 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Saturday, June 28, 2014, after 4 p.m. Funeral: Sunday, June 29, 2014, at 2 p.m. Interment: Knox Hill Cemetery, Bath County
