Obituary

Blain Duncan, age 71, of Dry Fork Road, Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2009, at his residence. Born April 25, 1938, in Grahn, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Ralph and Zelma Tackett Duncan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Duncan, and two sisters, Christine Rogers and Maxine Adams. Blain is survived by his wife of 26 years, Marjorie Holter Duncan of Olive Hill, Kentucky; three sons, Gregory (Andrea) Duncan of Olive Hill, Kentucky, Kevyn (Janet) Duncan of Thornville, Ohio, and Bryan (Barb) Duncan of Columbus, Ohio; two daughters, Laura (Joe) Woods of Madison, Ohio, and Carla (David) Horton of Grandview, Tennessee; one brother, Ralph Jr. -Pete- (Sheila) Duncan, of Grahn, Kentucky; 22 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Mr. Duncan served in the U.S. Navy for 8 - years and was a retired press operator. He loved old cars, motorcycles, and painting, and attended the Bethel Church at Smokey Valley in Olive Hill, Kentucky. At Mr. Duncan-s request, there will be no visitation or service. Arrangements are under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: o visitation. Funeral: o funeral service.
