Billy Junior Phillips, age 81, of Ravenswood Drive, Clearfield, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Ridgeway Nursing Home in Owingsville.

Born May 6, 1941, in Plattsburg, Ohio, he was a son of the late Will Henry "Bill" Phillips and Julia Adkins Phillips. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five siblings, Blanda Quisenberry, Loretta Workman, Ivan Phillips, Lavena Farrell, Kathy Van Ardsdale, and two grandsons.

Billy is survived by his fiancée, Kathryn Stephens of Dothan, Alabama; ten children, Angela (Tim) Stegall of Salt Lick, Sarah (Gary) Lykins of Jeffersonville, Jeanette Reynolds of Morehead, Donna (Gary) Conlee of Mt. Sterling, Rebecca (Walt) Cassity of Morehead, Chelsea (Dave) Fultz of Morehead, Billie Jo Elkins of Morehead, Brad (Marcia) Phillips of Clearfield, Julie Phillips of Jeffersonville, and Jessica Phillips of Morehead; 27 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

Other survivors include two brothers, Danny (Joan) Phillips of Lawrenceburg and Joe (Shirley) Phillips of London, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and other extended family and many friends.

He was a self-employed carpenter and enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to flea markets, and especially spending time with family.

At his request, no services will be held.
