Billy Wayne Jennings, age 49, of US 60 East, Morehead, passed away Friday, April 12, 2024, at his residence.

He was born July 25, 1974, in Morgan County, and is the son of Shirley Kidd Jennings of Morehead and the late Tilmon Jennings.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Kristy Robbins Jennings whom he married March 1, 2024; one sister, Kimberly Shawn Harris of Morehead; other extended family and many friends.

Billy was a 1994 graduate of Morgan County High School. When he was young, he worked alongside his father at Jennings Electric for many years and was a former employee at Frankie's Plaza for 14 years.

He enjoyed playing pool and was a league member at Frankie's Plaza.  He also enjoyed playing video games, watching wrestling, and loved U. K. basketball and football, and, most of all spending time with family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Herbert D. Lewis and cousin Gale Thornsberry officiating.  Burial will follow in Kidd Cemetery #2 in Blairs Mill.

Pallbearers will be Tony Kidd, Glendon Harris, Gabe Kidd, Abram Harris, Zack Kidd, and Ashton Harris.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made payable to Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals to assist with funeral expenses.
