Billie Ann Cornette, age 80, of Bratton Branch Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born May 1, 1932, in Perry County, Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Talt and Callie N. Turner Cornette. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn Kay Cornette Fouch. Billie is survived by two sisters, Mary Cornette and Lucille Gary, both of Morehead, Kentucky, two special nieces, Lora Wells and Lisa McIntosh, both of Morehead, Kentucky; a special friend, Bob Hay of Menifee County, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Billie was an avid U.K. basketball fan and enjoyed spending time with her family. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday, October 21, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals with the Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Jeff McIntosh, Darby Rayburn, Ed Rayburn, Kyle McIntosh, Crosley Caudill, and James Smith. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., Sunday, October 21, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
