Bill Caudill, age 78, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2010, at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. Born September 28, 1931, in Rowan County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Samuel James (Jim) and Gracie Brown Caudill. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Harlan James Caudill, Emil -Dockie- Caudill, and Denver Caudill, and two sisters, Abigail Caudill and Ollie Ethel Caudill. Bill is survived by four sisters, Lacy Caudill of Morehead, Kentucky, Peggy Bruner and Zelda Wright, both of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, and Martha Lowe of Morehead, Kentucky. Bill was a very active participant in the Special Olympics. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 2010, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. David Starcher officiating. Burial will follow in Caudill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wayne Bruner, Gene Lowe, Danny Caudill, Ronnie Caudill, Greg Barnes, D. J. Caudill, and Eric Caudill.
