Beverly Elaine Wooten Chapman, age 84, of Pleasant Valley, Morehead, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born April 19, 1937, in Rowan County, she was a daughter of the late Henry Harrison Wooten and Delphia May Byrge Wooten. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Jeanetta Wooten, Maude Cassity, Geneva McClurg, Rosa McClurg, and LaVerne Winzer and four brothers, Earl Wooten, Paul Wooten, Clifford Wooten, and Clyde Wooten.

She is survived by one son, Eddie Chapman (Mollie); one daughter, Etta Carol Chapman, all of Morehead; three brothers, Sonny Wooten and Charles Wooten, both of Morehead and David Wooten of New Castle, Indiana; one sister, Sharon Blevins of Morehead; a host of nieces and nephews; and other extended family.

Beverly was a private caregiver and homemaker. A devoted Christian, she was of the Church of God faith and enjoyed reading the Bible.  She was very loved and will be missed immensely.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mark Caldwell and Brother Jerry Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2021, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
