Beverly Jo Black, age 59, of Morehead, went to her Heavenly Home on Thursday, March 29, 2018, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born April 13, 1958, in Morehead, she was the daughter of the late Clifford A. and Pearl Pennington Black. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Lee Black and Charles Clay Black. Beverly is survived by five sisters and their husbands: Venita Gail and Lawrence Kelly of Springfield, Ohio, Shelia Ann and Terry Ferryman of Springfield, Ohio, Susan Jane and Teddy Wright of Clearfield, Denise and Paul Cox of Hillsboro, and Tannie Joan and Jerry Otis of Owingsville; several nieces and nephews; extended family and many friends. Beverly was a blessing to all who knew her. She was friendly, outgoing, and loving to everyone. She enjoyed the Pathways Workshop, working puzzles, playing with her dolls, sewing, and watching television, especially her favorite movie, "The Wizard of Oz." Beverly will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Lowell Rice officiating. Burial will follow in the Pennington Cemetery on Big Brushy Road. Pallbearers: Kyler Wright, Jeff Black, Dougie Black, Richie Blevins, Steven Cox, and David Kelly.
