Beulah Anna Hardin Cooper Kern, of Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2007, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. She was the 88-year-old matriarch of four generations. Beulah was born April 29, 1919, at Wrigley in Morgan County, Kentucky, the youngest child of John Henry Lewis and Martha Bell Hardin. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Vester Cooper; her second husband, Joseph Kern; her older siblings: Carmie, Ace, Dewey, Clayton, Bob, Will, Ollie, Arlie, Cleatus, and Hollie; and her granddaughter, Uyvonna Cantrell. She is survived by her five children: Wanda (Lonnie) Treadway of Fulton, Missouri; Vileta (Paul) Williamson of Clearfield, Kentucky; Linda (Gary) Althiser of Fulton, Missouri; Nellie Jo (Tommy) Whitt of Wrigley, Kentucky; and Charles Ray (Tooter) Cooper of Fulton, Missouri. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Angel. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr., officiating. Beulah will be laid to rest at the Hardin Family Cemetery on Big Lick Road in Morgan County, Kentucky. Visitation is after 2 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2007, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals. Visitation: Monday, November 19, 2007, after 2 p.m. Funeral: Tuesday, November 20, 2007, at 1 p.m. Interment: Hardin Family Cemetery, Morgan County, KY
