Beulah M. Boyd Ball, 83, of Williams Branch, Morehead, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. She was born March 7, 1930, on Old House Creek in Rowan County, Kentucky, a daughter of the late James William and Sarah Alice Debord Boyd. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Edna Tabor, and four brothers, Raymond, Roy, Ralph, and Dewitt Boyd. Her husband, Byron Ball, preceded her in death on March 17, 1998. Beulah is survived by one sister, Virgie Lewis, of Morehead; two stepdaughters, Betty Cobb of Carmel, Indiana, and Barbara Neilley of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; nieces and nephews; and extended family members. A homemaker, Beulah enjoyed her home, quilting, gardening and canning. Her dog, Buddy, also brought her much joy. Graveside services and interment will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, October 21, 2013, at the Sunrise Sunset Cemetery with Pastor Harold Ashcraft officiating. Pallbearers: Michael Beckman, Larry Beckman Jr., Billy Beckman, Robert Combess, Rick Lewis, and Mark Lewis. Arrangements are under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead.
