Bernadine J. Johnson Wright, age 66, of Heritage Place, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2024, at St. Claire HealthCare in Morehead.

Born February 24, 1958, in Morehead, she was a daughter of the late Damon Johnson and Essie Trent Kidd.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Steven Wilson and two infant sons, Jeremy Williams and Damon Wilson.

Bernadine is survived by three sons, Stacy (Jackie) Wilson, Brian Wilson, and Jonathan (Emily) Williams, and one daughter, Amber Dawn Farris, all of Morehead, Kentucky; her companion of 31 years, Jake Wright; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Childers Wilson of Sandy Hook, Kentucky; five grandchildren; extended family and friends.

She was a former Pizza Hut and Papa Johns employee. She enjoyed sewing and visiting with family and friends.  Bernadine was a member of the House of Prayer and will be missed.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 12 noon Monday, May 13, 2024, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.   A funeral service will begin at 12 noon Monday with Pastor Tim Rhodes and Brother Glen Day officiating.
