Benjamin Michael Garner, age 40, of Morehead, passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington.

Born July 6, 1983, in Morehead, he is the son of Michael W. Garner and Joeretta Butler Garner, who passed away September 18, 2018.  In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his son, Benjamin Logan Garner, and his sister, Sarah Michelle Garner.

Ben is survived by his father, Michael W. Garner of Morehead; one sister, Angela K. Nance (Cosper E.); one nephew, Zack. L. Nance (Ashley); three nieces, Megan M. Loy (Clay), Kelsey A. Nance, and Holly R. Nance, as well as extended family and friends.

Ben was a construction worker and enjoyed the great outdoors.  He especially enjoyed camping, fishing, and making memories with family and friends.  He will be remembered forever and greatly missed.

Visitation will be from 12 noon until 2 p.m. at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals on Sunday, December 10, 2023.  Burial will follow at Adams-Plank Cemetery with family officiating.  Pallbearers will be Zack Nance, Cosper Nance, Mike Mekelburg, Michael Garner, Clay Loy and Adam Kitchen.
