Beacher Lee Whitt, age 83, of Redwine Road, West Liberty, Kentucky, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014, at the Appalachian Regional Hospital in West Liberty. Born May 10, 1930, in Morgan County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Garfield and Susie Whitt. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by eight siblings, Roy, Icie, Randolf, Otis, Eva, Marie, Rebee, and Opal. His wife of 60 years, Anna Maude Wagoner Whitt, passed away December 2, 2011, and daughter, Lori Ann Whitt, passed away August 18, 2011. Beacher is survived by three children, Timmy Whitt (Evalee) of Wrigley, Pauletta Caskey (Charles) of Flemingsburg, Cheri Lincoln (Nathaniel) of Middletown, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Brian Whitt, Anita Chapman, Charles Dale Caskey, Jamie Caskey, Michael Robison, Leshia Norris, Pfc. Nicholas Wilson, Travis Green, and Lyndsey Green; and 15 great grandchildren. Other survivors include one brother, Stanley Whitt of Wrigley; several nieces and nephews; other family; many friends; and his companion, Carma D. Perry of West Liberty. Beacher was a retired truck driver and enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, canning, and spending time with his family. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Eugene Haney officiating. Burial will follow at the Adkins Cemetery in Wrigley, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be Charles Caskey, Timmy Whitt, Nicholas Wilson, Charlie Caskey, Jamie Caskey, and Kyle Hammonds. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, Morehead, Kentucky.
