Barbara Louise Crawford Cornett, age 74, of Coldiron Drive, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Friday, August 24, 2012, at her home. Born June 28, 1938, at Grange City in Fleming County, Kentucky, Barbara was a daughter of the late Orville and Cintilla Garner Crawford. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Bobby Monroe Cornett on December 17, 2009. Barb is survived by one son, Bobby Keith Cornett of Georgetown, Ohio; one daughter, Kathy Cornett Smalley of Morehead, Kentucky; one granddaughter, Amanda Vancleve of Morehead, Kentucky; and one great grandson, Justin Michael Vancleve, also of Morehead, Kentucky. Other survivors include her two sisters, Marie Colliver of Russellville, Ohio, and Jean Downard of Dayton, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Linda McKinney and Wyoma Hall. Barb was a homemaker and had been a babysitter and a housekeeper for a number of families. She was also a former employee of Freida-s antiques. Barb attended Lakeview Community Church. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Monday, August 27, 2012, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. James Allen, Rev. Mike Clark and Brother Ed Pendergrass officiating. Burial will follow in Brown Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sammy Hall, Dean Hall, Brian Wallace, Dick Adams, Ed Pendergrass, and Dennis Davis.
