Barbara Stimeling Brewer, 79, of Northfork Drive, Morehead, formerly of East Peoria, Illinois, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018, at her residence. Born June 7, 1938, in Peoria, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Clifford H. and June Maxwell Stimeling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Cliff Stimeling and John Stimeling, Sr., and one sister, Shirley Caudill. Barbara's husband, Terry Brewer, passed away on August 15, 1994. She is survived by two sons, Michael (Leona) Eaton of Wallingford, Kentucky, and Darryl (Jennifer) Eaton of Peoria, Illinois; two daughters, Deborah (Michael) O'neil of Chillicothe, Illinois, and Kathy (Austin) Shaw of Athens, Illinois; nine grandchildren, Christopher Eaton, Jennifer Eaton, Lorna Eaton, Brandon Eaton, Jayson O'neil, Jessica O'neil, Jared O'neil, Steven Shaw, and Brian Shaw; and four great grandchildren, Brayden Eaton, Cayden Eaton, Oliver Shaw, and Reid Shaw. Barbara was a former employee at Pitschs Sausage Shop in Peoria, Illinois, and enjoyed reading, gardening, crocheting, making baskets, and watching the St. Louis Cardinals baseball games. At Barbara's request, no services will be held. Northcutt and Son Home for Funerals in Morehead is caring for arrangements.
