Audrey Gombel Griffin, 94, of Morehead, formerly of New York, died peacefully Thursday, November 25, 2021, at the Life Care Center of Morehead, Kentucky.

Audrey was born November 5, 1927, in Albany, New York, the daughter of the late John and Gladys Roberts Gombel.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Griffin (1974), and two sons, Donald L. Griffin II and Neil J. Griffin.

Mrs. Griffin is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law:  Guy S. Griffin and Deborah of Morehead, Kentucky, Jeffery S. Griffin and Judie of Monroe, North Carolina, and Drew E. Griffin and SueEllen of Tioga Center, New York; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in South Bethlehem, New York, on Wednesday; December 1, 2021.
