Obituary

Audrey Harold 'Bud' Dailey, age 73, of McBrayer Road, Clearfield, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2013, at his home. He was born December 13, 1939, in Rowan County, a son of the late Ira Dailey and Rosa Hyatt Dailey Porter. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Joe Dailey and Vernon Paul Dailey. Bud is survived by five children, Marlena Dailey of Mansfield, Ohio, Dennis Dailey and Angela of Las Vegas, Nevada, James Dailey and Kathy of Kalispell, Montana, Audrey Dailey Scott and Joe Whitt of Clearfield, and Tammy Rogers and Glenn of Lawrenceburg; 13 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters, Elaine Cummins of Flemingsburg, Shirley Flynn of Charlestown, Indiana, Brenda Brown of Xenia, Ohio, and Penny McGuire of Olive Hill; five brothers, Ira Dailey, Jr., Larry Dailey, and Timothy Dailey, all of Morehead, Donnie Dailey of Springfield, Georgia, and Estill Dailey of Statesboro, Georgia; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Bud had been a carpenter and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, October 6, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Joe Cline officiating and Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. officiting. Burial will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery. Cody Dailey, Robert Ball, Shane Dailey, Zack Plank, Trace Fannin, Joey Brown, and John Grey will serve as pallbearers. Bud's brothers will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation is after noon Sunday, October 6, 2013, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Sunday, October 6, 2013, at noon Funeral: Sunday, October 6, 2013, at 2 p.m. Interment: Mt. Pisgah Cemetery
