Arthur Goble Lawhorn, age 74, of North Tolliver, Morehead, passed away Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born May 30, 1940, Olive Hill, he was a son of the late Perry Jackson and Margaret Bear Lawhorn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Marion Lawhorn. Arthur is survived by his wife, Barbara Hamilton Lawhorn; three sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Kathy Lawhorn of Ft. Lawton, Florida, Arthur Douglas and Goldie Lawhorn of Portsmouth, Ohio, and Kevin and Elizabeth Hamm of Cincinnati, Ohio; and three grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Clayton Lawhorn and Chester Lawhorn, both of Mansfield, Ohio, and other family members and friends. Arthur served in the U.S. Army and was a retired truck driver. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Harley Sexton, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Owens Cemetery in Olive Hill. Pallbearers: Vernon Estep, Milton Hamilton, Clayton Lawhorn, Adam Lawhorn, Jeffrey Lawhorn, and Robert Lawhorn.
