Arnold Trent, age 92, of Williams Branch, Morehead, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Life Care Center in Morehead. Born March 27, 1927, in Rowan County, he was a son of the late Elick and Gracie Sloan Trent. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 10 siblings, Lillie Adkins, Clint Trent, Clella Trent, Verna Kegley, Essie Kidd, Bessie Hamm, Ina Woodrow, Inez Scott, Linnie Reynolds, and Betty Kegley. Arnold is survived by one sister, Dina Stegall of Morehead; numerous nieces, and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and extended family members. He was a life-long farmer and enjoyed caring for his animals, spending time with his great nieces and nephews, especially giving them mule rides. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday, October 6, 2018, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Herbert D. Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Trent Cemetery on Route 173. Pallbearers will be Timmy Woodrow, Tommy Woodrow, Adam Wallace, Zach Wallace, Cain Wallace, and Donald Stevens.
