Arnold Edward Hamilton, age 69, of Enterprise Lane, Olive Hill, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead. Born July 12, 1944, in Rowan County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late John and Pearl Crisp Hamilton. Arnold is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kathy Mabry Hamilton, whom he married October 5, 1972; two daughters, Sara Nicole McDowell and Brittany Renee Lewis and husband David, all of Olive Hill; two grandchildren, Jasmine McDowell and Jordan Brewster; and his special canine buddies, Preston, Bentley, Abby, and Sophie. A prominent Carter County businessman, Arnold was the owner of Arnold Hamilton's Cars, Trucks and Furniture, and the manager of Morehead Flea Market. In his free time he loved being with his grandchildren and dogs. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ed Porter and Pastor Kenneth Binion officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Morehead. Pallbearers will be David Hamm, David Lewis, Jim Reynolds, T. J. Reynolds, Phil Day, and Phil Day, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Baker and Cecil Ison. Visitation is after 5 p.m. Friday, February 28, 2014, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals in Morehead. Visitation: Friday, February 28, 2014, after 5 p.m. Funeral: Saturday, March 1, 2014, at 1 p.m. Interment: Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens
